Our story began in 2018, when our founder Jag made the bold decision to become an owner-builder and build his family's very first home. Inspired by the resilience, determination and work ethic that shaped his immigrant journey, he chose to take on the challenge himself rather than hand it over to a construction company.
What started as a personal project quickly became a passion. After completing the home, Jag discovered a genuine love for the entire building process, from planning and problem-solving to watching a family's vision come to life. That passion led him to leave the career he'd spent more than 15 years building and pursue residential construction full-time.
Today, Zayra Construction Group has proudly delivered quality homes for families across Sydney, with a reputation built on trust, transparency and genuine care.

The next chapter of our story began when Shiv joined the business and reimagined the brand as Zayra Construction Group. Bringing a background in law and a meticulous eye for detail, Shiv introduced a fresh perspective focused on strong communication, thorough processes and a truly client-first experience. Together, we combine practical building expertise with careful planning to ensure every project is delivered with the highest level of care and attention.
